Amy Bliss started working for WHA 30 years ago this month. She has worn “many hats” including Accounting Assistant, Deputy Director and has been the WHA Executive Director since 2016. Way to go, Amy! She was also the previous Executive Director of Tomorrow’s Home Foundation and is currently serving on the Board. Amy was instrumental in starting the Foundation in 1999, which has provided critical home repairs to many manufactured homeowners in Wisconsin.

Amy is a leader and well respected by her peers at other state associations. She has received awards for the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) State Executive Director of the Year, the Elmer Frey Award for Innovation and Leadership and Wisconsin Society of Association Executives (WSAE) Hall of Fame Award. These awards are impressive and well earned.

Amy is a valuable asset to our Association. She advocates for the factory-built housing industry on a state level by lobbying and meeting with several state representatives and senators. She also attends meetings through the Manufactured Housing Institute and is the voice of WHA on a national level.

Some things you may or may not have known about Amy is that she loves to quilt and has made some fantastic works of art. She also loves to golf, fish, be outdoors and spend time with family and friends. She loves dogs and is pictured (right) with her “most precious Princess Penny.” Amy has been supported during her 30 year career by husband Brad and sons Logan and Jacob.

Congratulations on your 30th Anniversary Amy! It’s been a blessing working with you for 30 years. On behalf of the Board of Directors, the members, Angie and myself, thank you for all your hard work and dedication. If you would like to congratulate Amy personally, feel free to email her at amy@housingalliance.us.
